This site is recruiting participants for a clinical trial evaluating an investigational medication aimed at reducing the risk of major cardiovascular events, such as heart attack and stroke, in people who have had a heart attack and are at high cardiovascular risk.
You may be eligible to take part if:
- You’ve had a heart attack within the last 12 months, and
- You have at least two of the following:
- Age 65 or older
- Diabetes requiring medication
- Chronic kidney disease
- A history of a prior heart attack
- Blockages in multiple heart arteries
- Carotid artery disease or a prior stroke
- Peripheral artery disease
